Dag is a warrior, recently promoted to general, who is seeking the council of the arch-wizard of the city. While walking they come across some unexpected visitors.

Chester is a noble of the City of Richmount, who is searching for parts for a new invention he is working on. Lyra is a companion of his who is familiar with the working class, and is bringing Chester to meet an old acquaintance of hers. An unusual character, it turns out.

Three stalwart heroes delve deeper into a dark, dank cave. Grog the ork is ready for more battle, while Bolf, a gnomish bard, is glad he got out of there alive! Their leader, Divthan, tries to rally them before he is silenced by some dark force.

Narration

Peter is not a morning person. After hitting the snooze button one last time, he finds himself spiralling through hellish landscapes, until a final, terrifying conclusion that shocks him to consciousness.
